Piano Concert by Paolo Alderighi

2008 Graduation Awards Offered by Fondazione Achille e Giulia Boroli

The awards will be handed out by:
Bocconi Rector Guido Tabellini and Marcella Boroli Balestrini

Paolo Alderighi. Born in Milano in 1980, he graduated in piano at 19 years of age at Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi and later graduated cum laude at Università Bocconi. He then decided to devote his professional life to jazz music. Awarded as best young talent at the Breda Jazz Festival. He was invited to play sessions in Japan several times. He recorded part of the soundtrack of Ermanno Olmi's documentary dedicated to the artist Jannis Kounellis.

The journalist and music critic Franco Fayenz defines his as the best emerging jazz pianoist. He was selected as best Brand New Jazz Act in the 2008 Italian Jazz Awards. He just recorded his third record, A Touch of Swing, fort the Jazz Connaisseur label. He teaches at Bocconi in the Degree of Management of Culture and the Arts.
